~Arun Budhathoki~
Lonesome tree,
Half naked and half minded
Mad tree;
Laughing peacefully dances mysteriously
In front of me.
What you need?
Love, food, gloom or cloth;
Oh! I know now,
You need death!
Can you kill me?
I am as desperate you are,
You won’t believe me,
I know!
What must I do?
Reveal all my poor secrets
Or present you my frail body!
What you say?
Tree! This tree!
Lonesome tree,
Half naked and half minded
Mad tree;
Crying loudly sleeps sadly
In front of me.
What can I do?
Wait until it awakes,
And till then my hair will turn grey,
And I will die without it,
Die poorly.
