~Dibya Giri~
Once I happened to see a doll in the cup-board
The Old doll but very beautiful and attractive
My daughter used to love it to a great extent
She used play and enjoy with the doll
She used to sleep at night along with the doll
Even I found a letter near by the doll
It was written in the letter –
Beloved doll! I love you to a great extent
I wished to even get you wedded
With such a prince
Who will love you more than myself
Who will always love you as the queen of his heart
Who will never trouble you
But now it is not possible at all
Simply because I’m going far away from you
I’m also going to my husband’s house
My beloved doll, pardon me
I can’t take you along with me
Simply because you are a doll
My days to play with the doll are rolled by.
