As winter weeps slowly to soft bladed ground,
And carolers merry end melodious sound.
Sun sinks to peach;
bidding us an adieu.
And Moon sneaks up freshly,
to rhythm is true.
A fire fades,
embers and then charcoal black
And change sneaks upon us,
not to look back.
Embrace a spare moment and wonder at change.
For life is a journey,
and not to be tamed.
