नदीहरू उल्टो बगेको देखेर
छोराले सोध्यो-
‘आमा,
आजकल किन नदीहरू उल्टो- उल्टो बग्छन् -’
राष्ट्रिय पीडाले आक्रान्त
बूढी आमाले खोक्दै भनिन्-
‘छोरा, जब शासकहरू
पानीको साटो जनताको रगत पिउँन थाल्छन्
तब नदीहरू
व्रिद्रोह गर्दै उल्टो-उल्टो बग्छन् !’
