the journey, the venture
often find it irksome
yet, lured with the concept
of bearing sweet fruit,
that is yet to come
sweating, panting, and panicking
yet mesmerizing thoughts
of making a mark of my own
the books, the projects, the assignments overwhelms
the job, the status, the social circle, all factors of despair
it’s a cobweb, entangled beyond my beliefs
it’s ignorance, often fooled as a bliss
