Poem : To The Ghost

~Arjun Dahal~

Who are you?
A beautiful lady ghost,
outside my window,
dazzling in white T-shirt and white mini-skirt.

O’ Lady,
your chura’s chindring chindring,
has disturbed my sleep,
and I can do nothing,
but play,
Damber Nepali’s song, “Timro Paauju Bajera”,
to add rhythm in your dance.

O’ beautiful lady,
I’m not in a state to flirt,
so you may please haunt others.
My thanks for entertaining me, O’ lady,
but the dogs have started barking,
-too fiercely,
so run as fast as you can.
A poet can do nothing,
but write a poetry in your name.
