Like mothers
There are miseries to learn how to put up with
Against the challenges
There is a challenge to learn how to stand like
Yet to learn –
How the tiny happiness are caused to grow
By planting a hope on the soil,
From the returning farm-laborers!
Like the heads of valorous ones
From never bowing mountains
From the rhododendron blooming colourful mountains
From the plains of Terai
From the soil’s formal friend farmers
And from the rock and soil never leaving for another country
Yet to learn- the way of loving the country!
By giving up the enmity there is to be in unison
There are joint dreams of prosperity to dream
By playing bugle of awareness
There are the villages, cites and abodes to awake
There is ‘Diyo’ of knowledge to light up
In every heart and brain
And there is the Buddha’s peace to spread
Across over the world!
There are own folk tunes to play
There are songs of unity to sing in the same tune
With smile on dried flaked lips
There is the warmth of brotherhood and humanity to share
Just like how ‘chautaras’ share
Equality and courtesy with all
Just like how the breeze shares
Life equally with humans!
And there is to ask
The water about its colour
The son about its country
The breeze about its race
The sky about its nationality
There is to ask
The Gods polarized in the name of religion
Who divided the human beings into
Colour
Race
And
Boundaries?
Notes:
