पछि लाग्दा भाग्ने, छाया जस्तो चाला !
भाग्दा पछि लाग्ने, छाया जस्तो चाला !
आफ्ना जन कंहा गए खै म लड्दा ?
उठ्दा मात्र जाग्ने, छाया जस्तो चाला !
बल्दा सम्म ताप्यो साथ रह्यो पनि
खाक हुंदा त्याग्ने, छाया जस्तो चाला !
खोजी जारी राख्न आफ्नै भन्न मिल्ने
मेरो साथ माग्ने छाया जस्तो चाला !
