Poem : Present pinned in a natucha*

~Sudhir Kwabi~

Today,
Reflecting childish behavior
Bonny hands, with natucha, are searching for bright future
in stinking plastic bags and gloomy rags

Tomorrow,
the called-pillar of the country
will be lying under the unknown bridge
accumulating stern virus within his structure

The day after tomorrow,
All will be reading large and black
headline “Children Right and Welfare”

After that day,
Even if emerged from the plastic bags
without transferring into the youth
Natucha will give the mission of walking stick.

After that day
Again another child
will be seen silently, inserting natucha in present time
will be searching the bright future in gloomy bags
for to survive

natucha = Pointed rod used by street children to collect the dispersed matter.
